“Grandmother from Another Planet on Find 3 Good Things about Your Biggest Challenge: Let Go, Open Doors of Creativity, Transform Life...”
GRANDMOTHER:
Greetings. Today I would like to speak to you about some great opportunities in your life, looking at life differently with an open mind, an open heart, and new Doorways of Creativity. And I would like to start by asking you: What are 3 Good Things about your biggest, most upsetting challenge?
This would be the challenge you are obsessed with, that keeps you awake at night, that causes you to keep worrying scenarios in sentences and trails of thought through your mind so that you can't really focus on other things because you are, in a way, "obsessed" with this challenge.
Don't judge yourself. You're trying to solve a problem. But we want to look at a new way to open to creativity -- to access higher-consciousness creativity in times when you feel "obsessed" with a great challenge or problem or upsetment that seems insurmountable. Like all problems and problem-solving, you should actually look at all problems as a "class" or an "opportunity" to learn more about problem-solving and to increase your ability.
But the key is that you need a new perspective and some "creativity," and above all a great deal of love or open-heartedness to truly open some new doorways. We're wanting to put new energy and new creativity into what right now looks like an insurmountable challenge or obsession.
These can take many forms. They can also take the form of being very much in love with your opinions or in love with someone, and you don't want to turn loose of your obsession or position on this situation. And you feel defensive, and therefore you keep running these scenarios and thoughts in your head all the time so that you can't "catch a breath"!
The purpose of our speaking today is about your "catching a breath" and opening your heart to a little love. This is very important that you be loving toward yourself, even if there are things that have happened for which you blame yourself. Or worse, others blame you -- in your perception. It is simply a lesson to learn about feeling blamed or blaming others or wanting to defend yourself to the extent that you can't think about anything else!
You are a brilliant and beautiful, creative, higher-consciousness being, and you can transform all of your life with simple steps of new ways to handle highly-volatile challenges or new information which is challenging! Or letting go of something you really do not want to let go of!
So, today is one simple thing. We have many steps that I have mentioned that are very good. But we want to look at one today: "What Are 3 Things that Are Good about This Big Challenge?" You can still think about the challenge. You can't get your mind off of it, your obsession. But let's go down a slightly different path: "What are 3 Good Things About It?"
Now. You'll need a pen and pad to do this exercise. I highly recommend you that you use some of our sound links and information because the sound frequency changes the -- let's call it "mood" today. It changes your "mood" a bit. You might be able to "see" differently. (Sound examples: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KcU6w1Pr5gc&t=507s -- and -- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=txQ6t4yPIM0 )
And one reason for doing this exercise and picking up your pen and pad, is that act by itself changes your mood about what your obsessed with or the challenge you're concerned about.
You haven't been picking up the "pen and pad" for the purpose of opening doors of creativity and doing that changes the "terrain." It really is a spectacular "opportunity" because of the tremendous amount of emotion that you pour into these great "challenges," these great "obstacles" (in your view) -- any of which can open magnificent doorways to a sparking creativity, partly because of the intensity, the electricity you have invested in this situation.
So, you are to write down "3 Good Things" that could lead to either understanding or new opportunities and focus on the "opportunity" aspect of this. 3 Good Things -- opportunities -- which could come from your being given this "class" in handling very large challenges. All right?
Now, as you begin to write with your hand, I would like you to consider going into a "meditation" on these 3 Things.
LETTING GO MEDITATION
(Use sound, such as https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KcU6w1Pr5gc&t=507s )
And the first part of the meditation that I would like you to consider is: Letting Go. There is an aspect of you which has become so attached to the idea of your having the challenge, that even if this obsession or challenge were removed and suddenly there were no problem, you would find a way to direct that same energy and focus of concern and worry and being upset about a challenge -- on something else! Or something is "wrong" with one of the solutions, etc.!
So, clear your mind. Clear your heart. A simple "Letting Go Meditation"...
STEP 1. LET GO OF EVERYTHING.
Step 1. As you are beginning your meditation with sound, take a deep breath and (Very slowly): Let...Go...of...Everything... Everything that's worrying you, your identity, everything in the world.
STEP 2. SLOW DOWN TIME
Second: Slow...Down...Time... Feel everything around you slowing down completely. There is no rush, there is no deadline, even though that is often what you're concerned about, a sense that you must-must-must go fast and meet this "deadline." But if you try to go fast in a frame of reference you are so taken with and attached to and addicted to, this obsession with a "big challenge" -- that you cannot see that in the end it will actually take more time to solve it.
So: Slow...Down...Time... Just relax.
STEP 3. RELAX IN A FIELD OF BLISS FOR 3 MINUTES
And the third step: I would like you in this field of "Letting Go." For these few moments there is nothing for you to worry about. Time is moving very slowly because you have allocated a few moments to Slowing...Down...Time. Just meditate on Time going slowly, and "feeling" that. How slowly the Time is passing...
And now, Relax in a Field of Bliss... 3 minutes is good. Longer is better but 3 minutes is perfectly fine.
When you are upset, if you can manage to Let Go, Slow Down Time with wonderful sound, and relax in a Field of Bliss for 3 minutes, you are to be highly congratulated.
3 GOOD THINGS
(Write the 3 Good Things in this Blissful state).
And now, this is a different state of mind. You have 3 things before you that you have written down. You have made a commitment to write down 3 Good Things that seem possible or many more than 3 if they start to come: What are some Good Things? Even if they're all just "lessons." But I think that you will find there are some other "opportunities."
So, see those 3 Things as "opportunities." And if you don't see that in what you have written, write 3 More Things that are clearly "opportunities."
CREATIVE DOORWAYS
And then what I would like you to do is to meditate upon a "Creative Doorway" that appears for each of these 3 Things. Do you see?
For instance, you might have seen a good thing that has come from this intolerable situation that you will have an opportunity to learn how to "let go" of opinions or people or situations that are a kind of "addiction." And you are focusing on learning to let go of those, and that is a good thing.
You may also see that some new relationships may form because you have to seek help with your challenge -- and that is a good thing. Do you see?
So, I want you to focus on one of your "Good Things" in this relaxed state. And I want you to begin to imagine "creatively." This is another step in completely changing all of the "ethos" and the "possibilities" in your problem-solving.
I want you to imagine a Door. It is a wonderful, wonderful Door. Let's make it blue for today, but you can use different colors. imagine a beautiful Blue Door. And there is a Door Knob. And I would like you to imagine in this creative state, opening the Knob of this Creative Doorway. That's what it is. It is a "Doorway to Creativity" which you did not even know is resident in your world of imagining. But it is. And you have access.
Open the Door!
And then I want you to pay close attention to the first thing you see and hear. What is the symbol? What is the image? What is the picture? Most importantly: What is the feeling?
Now, if you see something illogical which seems crazy, that is wonderful! Because that means you have accessed "creativity" in the symbol-or-image language, which is a higher-dimensional kind of "creative opening." Do you see?
You might even see something as simple as a tree. Or you might actually see something along the lines of a "pathway" to a creative solution to this problem -- that you had not seen before. Something new -- a new player, a new person, a new title, a new project, a new town, a new location -- these spontaneous "openings" of the Doorway, without any pre-thought of what might be behind it.
Just Open the Door! And see what is there!
And then you are doing a high level, higher-creative-consciousness exercise when you extrapolate meaning and a possible strategy from this simple act of "Opening a Door." Now, this is part of some of our exercises in other higher-creative consciousness worlds (Right Brain Aerobics) -- but we are not usually associating those with trying to solve an "obsessive" problem that you just can't let go of. And that distinguishes this today.
So, it's very important that you have identified 3 Good Things -- "opportunities" in this challenge. And you are focusing on them one at a time. And you are opening "Door Number One of Creativity" for the first. And then, as if you were in a class, and the teacher has said: "What is the new solution or vision or vista that you see having opened this Door and discovered this symbol, image, logo, or idea?"
And you do this with each of these 3 Good Things you have discovered, or as many as you would like. But the assignment for today is to do all 3. And as you progress in this meditation, you will find that your attitude and even your version of your story about what's going on with this problem or even a revelation -- you may come upon some new information that has greatly shocked you.
When you begin this exercise of looking for a good "opportunity" that will come from this "terrible situation" -- as you now view it -- you have already changed the situation.
FINAL STEP: PUT ENOUGH LOVE INTO IT
And a final step is to put enough love into it to see it truly transform how you act, how you take action, how you become much more creative, how you help others with regard to this problem. It is simple. It is about "one big challenge." And it gives you some very easy steps in meditation to change how you work with problems, issues, your life, relationships. It is usually relationships that are imbued with such high, intense, obsessive, can't-let-go emotions. And therefore, there is a tremendous "opportunity" of highly-charged creative energy.
And the act of imagining the big Door of Creativity opens those pathways. You can even imagine writing on the door: "Creativity." Get if foremost in your mind!
And that is my thought for today, because you are living in times of enormous challenge that will require enormous periods of "Letting Go" and "Rethinking."
Rethinking, rethinking, rethinking -- your life, who you are, things in the world, with love.
At some point you must come to understand that there is love involved every time you learn a new lesson. There is always love involved. And if you then invest in Meditation on Love for these 3 Doorways and for your Big Challenge -- that you will learn a great deal, and you will become a better person because of this. If you invest more love, and more love, each time it hits you again -- and find more Good Things that can come of your learning about this -- then you will be transformed. You will absolutely, positively be transformed in your world, in relationships, if you begin to handle your biggest challenges in this way: Finding the "opportunities" and Opening the Doors of Creativity in every Big Challenge.
With the greatest possible love and admiration and caring for you and your brilliant opportunities during these volatile times on Earth, these times of change, I am Grandmother from Another Planet.
